Depending on the course content, Our Heartsaver® eLearning courses include three parts.  Part 1 is the online portion and can be completed at work, home or wherever you have Internet access.  Parts 2 and 3 include a hands-on skills session with an AHA Instructor or Heartsaver® Skills Evaluator™. 

CPR and First Aid Courses  

Our Heartsaver® Courses are for anyone with limited of no medical training who needs a course completion card for job, regulatory, or other requirements.  These courses are also designed to meet OSHA requirements. For many of our courses, students receive a course completion card that is valid for two years.  

OSHA and AHA Alliance  

Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) and the AHA work together to raise awareness about safety and health to prevent injuries, illnesses and fatalities in the workplace.  The National Alliance's key goal is to foster a culture of awareness, prevention and action in the workplace through employee safety and wellness programs.  

AED Resources  

AED Implementation Guide is a comprehensive booklet to guide you through the steps to implement a successful and efficient AED program.  

AED Legislation - State Requirements PDF is a guide that allows you to find state-by-state AED legislation that outlines requirements for training, physicians and AED program registration.  

AED Programs Q & A will assist in answering questions you might have regarding AED Programs  

Automated External Defibrillator (AED) Companies listed on this site have received FDA Pre-Market Approval - 510(k) fir an AED (or mutiple AEDs).
